Hakuna Matata

Hakuna Matata. What a wonderful phrase. That’s my focus for the week—no worries. I have plenty of them with midterms, essays, and all of the other hullabaloo but I’m going to try to take it in stride. At the end of the day, I think the important thing to ask ourselves is, “Am I happy?” And by happy I don’t mean the feeling you get when you get a good grade or when you get a compliment. Sure, those are momentary highs of happiness. Instead, I mean an overall sense of happiness, a feeling that pervades throughout the day—a general sense of well-being.
How are you living your life? Are you living in a Hakuna Matata state of mind?
I’d love to stop and chat longer but I have to finish an essay for film class. No worries!
Keep shining,
