Having a Good Morning

It’s been a whirlwind these days—personally and internationally. In the past week, our country has witnessed William and Kate recite their vows for the royal wedding and we’ve also gotten word of Osama Bin Laden’s death. When it rains, it pours. Personally, I’ve been so busy with Relay for Life, midterms, and the like that it’s been hard to find the time to peacefully post. Thankfully today is the last day of mayhem…at least for a little while. So I thought I’d post some of my favorite tips for a good day from a new little book I got called, “Good Morning!”
“It is not enough to take steps which may someday lead to a goal; each step must be itself a goal and a step likewise.” –Goethe
“You are only given a little spark of madness. You mustn’t lose it.”--Robin Williams
“You’ve got to get up every morning with a smile on your face, and show the world all the love in your heart.” –Carole King
“We are never given a dream without the power of making it come true.” –Richard Bach
“Don’t compromise yourself. You’re all that you’ve got.” –Janice Joplin
I hope those little piecemeal portions of happiness will add a little something extra to your day. I feel like it started my day off right!
Keep shining,
The Sunny Girl, Lauren Cook
