What Will You Do to Pay It Forward?

There’s one movie that every now and then, I have to watch. I have a knack for forgetting parts of films so it’s practically new every time. That’s how it is when I watch “Pay It Forward.” Yes, I remember the core details of the plot, but each time I watch it, I have something new to take away from it. This time that I recently watched it, I was inspired to give back. I don’t know if you’ve ever seen the movie (hey, it’s on instant Netflix right now!), but sweet little Haley Joel Osment comes up with a master plan to help his community.I’ve written about this before, which you can read here. But I was re-inspired to share the message of helping others. We may not be empowered or capable of taking in the homeless  or giving someone our car like Osment did, but we can do little things to make big differences every day.I encourage you to do three random acts of kindness today. Maybe you’ll clean up your house, write someone a letter, or offer to take someone out to lunch.Happiness comes in helping. What will you do to help today?Here’s what I’m going to do to help today: As soon as I finish writing this post, I’m going to clean my entire house for my parents to enjoy.
