Saying Goodbye

Well I’m officially a free bird. But the only thing I’m happy about is finishing my finals! I’m so sad to leave UCLA and everything that it represents. I suppose all chapters of our stories must come to an end. Harry must kill Voldemort, Bella becomes a vampire, and I must go home. I’m sad to leave my friends behind though and pack up all of my belongings today. It’s not like I live across the country from my school, but still, I know I’ll miss it and all the fun memories I’ve made this year.I don’t feel much inclined to write today. I feel like taking the written words of others to get my daily dose of happiness in. I thought I’d share some quotes that I stumbled upon today:"We only part to meet again."  ~John Gay"Why does it take a minute to say hello and forever to say goodbye?"  ~Author Unknown"How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard."  ~Carol Sobieski and Thomas Meehan, Annie"No distance of place or lapse of time can lessen the friendship of those who are thoroughly persuaded of each other's worth."  ~Robert Southey"The reason it hurts so much to separate is because our souls are connected."  ~Nicholas Sparks, The NotebookThank you for enduring my sentimentality, friends. Make the most of your goodbyes—it means you love someone.Keep shining,The Sunny Girl, Lauren Cook
