Episode 3: Ryan Armstrong, Director of Strategy and Business Development at Ralph Lauren

If you’re needing inspiration, especially if you’re at a crossroads, this is the episode for you! I left this conversation feeling so hopeful. Ryan’s story will give you heart. I love how Ryan’s journey, including his history as a dancer and consultant, led him to Ralph Lauren and the incredible work he’s currently doing. Ryan was candid in sharing how his challenges, including the experience of rejection (which we all face!), ultimately led him to exactly where he wanted to be. He also shares how Ralph Lauren is truly creating a space that embraces wellness in the workplace. We also talk about the power of mentorship and how to work through those jitters when it comes to connecting with the people who could change your life.

Here’s Ryan’s biography if you’d like to learn more:

Ryan Armstrong is an intellectually curious leader driven by passion and a desire to elevate others. Ryan has worked with Fortune 500 companies to advance global, enterprise-wide strategies and drive change management.

Ryan’s path to where he is now has included diverse experiences across science, the arts, and business and, perhaps, a bit unorthodox. However, he feels that it gave him a unique perspective that has helped him to be successful. Ryan is a first-generation college student who started at a State school for his Bachelor's degree and has since obtained an MBA at an Ivy League school and worked for one of the top consulting firms in the world.
