Episode 4: Anthony Martore, Business Diversity & Inclusion Partnerships Lead at Nike, Inc.
In this episode, I sit with fellow UCLA Bruin alum, Anthony Martore. He's sharing about his extensive experiences working at Nike and how he's creating a more equitable market on an international level. Anthony's mindset and personal dedication will inspire you in your own work experience. From his consistent fitness routine (which he has maintained since being an athlete in track) to his creative capabilities that he has integrated into several divisions at Nike, Anthony shares how each step of your career brings you to where you are now.
We also had fun discussing one of my favorite books, The Comfort Crisis, which I sent to Anthony after our call. You’re welcome to join our Brain Health Book Club where we’ve discussed this book and others like it!
Here’s Anthony’s biography if you’d like to learn more:
Anthony Martore joined NIKE’s Global Procurement team in 2017, starting his professional career in a competitive three-year rotational program where he gained experience in Brand/Marketplace Procurement, Materials Procurement, Supplier Relationship Management, and Data Analytics before finding his home in Supplier Diversity. In 2020, Anthony helped architect the inaugural Global Business Diversity & Inclusion initiative and now serves as the Partnerships Lead for Business Diversity & Inclusion at NIKE. As a lifetime competitive athlete, Anthony has translated his passion for sport into becoming a leader within Supplier Diversity at NIKE.
To celebrate NIKE's 50th anniversary, we are coming out with a promotional campaign for our Business Diversity & Inclusion initiative, keep an eye out on NIKE social channels in the near future for the release!
